Job Description

This position will be responsible for providing technical leadership for Data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) development for the Enterprise Data Warehouse, data submission and other data integration applications for the enterprise data management organization. This senior lead will collaborate and partner with business areas, project teams, IT technical teams and outsourced vendors to ensure high quality application development for data integration initiatives and services focusing on new development for medium project work.


1.Lead project initiatives to define scope and implement data integration architecture. Coordinate with business areas, IT cross-divisional technical resources and external customers regarding system scope, objectives and solutions.
2.Lead responsibility as a technical expert in design, development, coding, testing, and debugging new data integration, application, and development. Responsible for making significant enhancements to existing applications. Collaborates with project managers in developing project plans, schedules, status reporting, and issue/risk management.
3.Coordinates and participate in project estimate, development and implementing recommended architecture approaches. Interfaces with Engineering, DBA and Operations departments ensuring application performance, capacity, and that SLA’s are developed and met.
4.Reviews and approves design specifications and performs code reviews.
5.Keeps updated with and enforces the data integration development standards and best practices for design, coding, migration and scheduling.

Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum requirements:

•Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field and minimum of 6 years of related experience developing complex Data Integration/ETL applications using Informatica Power Center and Power Exchange for Teradata, DB2/UDB, or Oracle.
•Extensive knowledge and understanding of the standard and best practice for Data integration development practice, experienced in work estimation, performing design review and code review.
•Working knowledge on data warehousing methodology, data design, data modeling (3 Normal Form and Star Schema) and SQL knowledge for Teradata, DB2/UDB, or Oracle.
•Experience and working knowledge for UNIX (AIX and Solaris), shell scripting and scheduler (CA7 or others, Informatica scheduling).

Additional Requirements

•Excellent skills in coordination with multiple teams (Data analysis, modeling, testing, DBAs, project managers, business areas etc.) for project execution and issue resolution.
•Demonstrated oral/written communication and presentation skills to effectively
•communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences including executives, peers and internal and external vendors and business areas and customers.
•Excellent team player. Experienced working with team with diverse cultural and professional background.
