Requirements:
Teradata
Need to have ETL experience (no specific tool, but would prefer Informatica)
BI experience - Any tools

HAS TO HAVE HEALTHCARE, preferably payor

Needs to have good communication


Job Summary Briefly describe the overall role of the job and why the job exists in the organization

Responsible for developing enterprise level solutions that integrate across applications, systems and platforms. Aligns business and technology strategies to define project level architecture that enables the projects objectives. Works with project managers, other architects, application delivery/ management, and infrastructure teams to effectively manage the technology solutions of a set of projects to ensure an optimal, high level, conceptual design. Analyzes and translates business, information and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions to achieve business objectives. Contributes or leads enterprise architecture frameworks, proof-of –concepts, architecture standards and reference architectures. Serves as a critical resource and technical expert across multiple disciplines. Works on projects of high complexity.

Accountabilities List the major functions of this job, preferably in order of importance
(maximum of 7-10 accountabilities)

1.Creates project architecture plan documentation and communicates implementation plans to leadership.
2. Partners with business systems analysts and engineers in requirements gathering and review
3. Governs detailed design documents the ensure adherence to Enterprise Architecture Standards and defined Architecture.
4. Leads or contributes to the creation of an architectural framework.
5. Performs technical competitive analysis of vendor solutions and advises leadership regarding their use in the enterprise.
6. Proposes changes in process, policy and standards as they relate to architecture and design principles.
7. Researches and maintains knowledge in emerging technologies and solutions to solve business problems.

Required Qualifications List the specific skills, knowledge and abilities that are required

• Bachelors degree in computer science or related field and 6 years experience in IT and 2 years hands on experience in an Application Architect or Technical Lead role, or 10 years of experience in IT and 4 years hands on experience in an Application Architect or Technical Lead role.
• Advance to expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, application design, systems engineering and integration
• Experience in creating and leading architecture of multiple applications using a variety of technologies
• Experience in designing and implementing applications using several architecture patterns, e.g, SOA
• Experience leading and influencing without formal authority
• Effective at driving change
• Ability to partner with internal and external customers to achieve strategic objectives including the ability to navigate the organization influencing thoughts and decisions.
• Experience with designing, developing and implementing business intelligence and analytic solutions.
• Hands on experience with data integration and data modeling design including integration development experience.
• Experience in information delivery with business intelligence and analytic tools
• Ability to drive Data Architecture concepts and translate them for the delivery team on how to execute on them.
• Strong communication skills both oral and written combined with good listening skills.

• Health care experience
• Technical or Architectural certifications
• Experience in Teradata, Informatica and SAS a plus
